Midway through her rookie season, Caitlin Clark found herself with a month-long break due to All-Star weekend the the 2024 Summer Olympics. During this extended downtime, the rookie phenom appears to be testing her luck with another sport.

This week, videos surfaced of Clark showing off her golf swing at “Back 9 Golf” located in Indiana. She and other members of the Indiana Fever were there as part of a yearly fundraiser the team holds.

Caitlin Clark’s swing got a nice reaction from the people around her, but the No. 1 pick didn’t seem completely pleased with how she did.

Later this week, Clark will begin the final stretch of her rookie campaign in the WNBA. With about 15 games to go, she’s helped lead the Fever to a playoff spot. Indiana currently sits in seventh place with an 11-15 record.

As for Clark, she has lived up to the massive expectations set for her thus far. She was named to the WNBA All-Star team after averaging 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists. Some of Clark’s major highlights from the first half of the year include being the first rookie to notch a triple-double and setting the new single-game record for assists (19).

Caitlin Clark links up with New York Yankees
Testing her luck in golf is not the only thing Caitlin Clark has done during the break in the WNBA season. Over the weekend, one of the top teams in the MLB invited her to the stadium to be a guest.

Clark made a trip to Yankee Stadium, where she got to meet most of the players on the New York Yankees. She did an interview for TV, met some fans, signed autographs, and linked up with some of the team’s key players.

Among those who Caitlin Clark got to interact with was Aaron Judge, who signed a custom Yankees jersey made for her. The Indiana Fever guard also got to spend some time with star outfielder Juan Soto and Anthony Rizzo.

At this point in the season, the Yankees are tied with the Cleveland Guardians for the most wins in Major League Baseball (72). Judge has been a major catalyst for their success, putting together another MVP-level campaign. This season, he is hitting .333 with 43 home runs and 110 runs batted in.

Clark looks to have made the most of her break, but it’s time to shift the focus back to basketball. The Fever kick off this final stretch of the season on Friday, taking on Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury.
